i don't spend that much on crabs but they always seem to work for me the cod were only 20-25cm but they fell for the crabs. the 3 cod were hooked on the pier and the other guy that got one i gave him a peeler crab to try so that speaks for its self. i was using a one hook pulley rig at about 100-125 yards all i had left on the reel after a bad birds nest at the ledges i think that sometimes if you have a 2 or 3 hook rig out it confuses the fish too much sent in one place. just my way of thinking different if your using crab on all 3 hooks ??????
