Many Say that Frozen Sandeels Actually Outfish Fresh Ones on certain occasions.

If You Want to have a go at catching them I believe there is a Tool on the Market for Scraping them out of the sand, But I think its more trouble than they're worth. :?

2 quid for a pack of ten/twelve or god knows how many hours raking through sand with a glorified breadknife for the same..... Unless you need live bait, just buy them, majority of brands are blast frozen very quickly so should be in good nick.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D
