Specimen Ballan wrasse, 12/10/10

#1 Post by Ronald »

My first specimen Ballan Wrasse (have had them before, just not weighed on proper certifyied scales  ) 4lb 12 oz , caught on a secret mark somewere not a million miles from home on crab, 3/0 hook mounted on a single hook paternoster. dont ask for exact location as refusal often offends

Thanks very much Guys, The weather was pretty bad but the fish made up for it  Been the length and breadth of the country trying to get one of these for the last 8/9 years (tend to book holidays with the other half to likely spots close at hand  )
