Specimen Ballan wrasse, 12/10/10
My first specimen Ballan Wrasse (have had them before, just not weighed on proper certifyied scales
) 4lb 12 oz , caught on a secret mark somewere not a million miles from home on crab, 3/0 hook mounted on a single hook paternoster. dont ask for exact location as refusal often offends
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Re: Specimen Ballan wrasse, 12/10/10
Thanks very much Guys, The weather was pretty bad but the fish made up for it
Been the length and breadth of the country trying to get one of these for the last 8/9 years (tend to book holidays with the other half to likely spots close at hand
)
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
