anyone ever catch a small dogfish?
Hi all , every dogfish I have ever caught or seen was between 50 and 65cm in length, do small ones exist or are they all born at 50cm

Strangefruit and myself were talking about this the other day. Between us we had never seen a little Doggie. We came to the conclusion that they are very fast growing and that we just hadn't caught a little on yet

the smallest i ever caught was about 6 inches  but i remember on katts strand aguy catching a bass about3 inches long
it was the size of the hooks he was useing caught in the mouth we had no camera phones then but one of the stewards took a picture im sure its out there some where he thought it was a small whiting until he felt the spines in his hand
