anyone ever catch a small dogfish?

Hi all , every dogfish I have ever caught or seen was between 50 and 65cm in length, do small ones exist or are they all born at 50cm :?:

Strangefruit and myself were talking about this the other day. Between us we had never seen a little Doggie. We came to the conclusion that they are very fast growing and that we just hadn't caught a little on yet :D

the smallest i ever caught was about 6 inches but i remember on katts strand aguy catching a bass about3 inches long
it was the size of the hooks he was useing caught in the mouth we had no camera phones then but one of the stewards took a picture im sure its out there some where he thought it was a small whiting until he felt the spines in his hand
