Soul Destroying
I might be going a little to far here but. I recently scraped my favourite rod (AA Surf)
It has really annoyed me and find myself taking the rod out of the rodbag and looking for the scrape.

Ask Mr Green about scratches on a rod......he will tell you what scratches really are
I little dab of rod varnish and a gentle wipe should fill the sratch....its no big deal, seriously.
Small bottle of rod varnish will cost about £4.00 sterling from Hopkins & Holloway......PM me if you need more advice on how to apply it.
Tom.
