Soul Destroying

#1 Post by round_ourway »

I might be going a little to far here but. I recently scraped my favourite rod (AA Surf) It has really annoyed me and find myself taking the rod out of the rodbag and looking for the scrape.
Has any others out there become very emotionally attached to there favourite bits of kit.

A scratch  Get back to me when you break all the rings on your rod or get the tip taken off by the car door

Ask Mr Green about scratches on a rod......he will tell you what scratches really are

I little dab of rod varnish and a gentle wipe should fill the sratch....its no big deal, seriously.

Small bottle of rod varnish will cost about £4.00 sterling from Hopkins & Holloway......PM me if you need more advice on how to apply it.

a wee scratch on a rod i can live with, but when someone hits your car with their door and leaves a dent, then drives off  any way, i have damaged rods in the pass, and a dab of varnish usually does the trick, except when you close the door or boot on them
