Report:Went out today to kill an hour not expecting much due to the bright conditions but how wrong can you be
Spent an hour catching macks on a very light setup. Macks were running up onto the beach, driving sprats ahead of them.
I left my tackle bag at one end of the beach and only brought the rod, reel and scales with me. Got to the other end of the beach and landed a bass of 7.48 lbs.
2 casts later and another of 6 lbs.
Both fish were quickly returned and i RAN back down the beach to get a camera thinking there might be a few more around.
Didn't have a touch for about 15 Min's then 3 bass in 4 casts.
All over 5 lbs.

At this point I was getting worried about getting back to the car as I was almost cut off by the tide and it was getting dark. Packed up the gear and started the long trek back. I had a few chucks ON the way back and picked up another 2 bass.
Got about 40 macs and over 35lbs off bass.
Don't think I will be able to sleep tonight
