if you plan to fish south each arklow any worm bait should catch you a few dozen flatties. i have had success here with lug rag and best of all maddies for the flats with fish and worms working well for the likes of codling, whiting and coalies. fish also accounts for dogs if they are around.
the fishing here can be very fast but the fish are small. but if you are out to catch a few fish its great fun. very good match venue as you really have to work at top speed all day
best of luck, hope this helps

hey mann , welcome to the site !! , are you fishing arklow south beach ?? if so well then scratching rigs are the best, lug tipped with macki can be great for the dabs and flounders, there should be some small smoothound showing around that area at the moment too so try and bring some crab !! hope this helps ! and if you have any more questions feel free to PM me !! cheers , boycie
