i have used it for mainline for a while now. mainly spinning and mullet.
it seems to be strong and casts well. not used it for rigs though.

I have heard some dodgy reports about it in the lower breaking strains, however, I use 36lb Vanish as rig body for all my scratching rigs. Its also used for all flowing traces for the boat and as snood line for my Pulley rigs. I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with it in any way shape or form.

I used it for a while for snoods Al but found it almost 'brittle', didn't like it so moved to the softer forms of fluro like seaguar and grauvell

I dont know about anyone else AL, but my advise is not to go near the stuff !! its a curse if your fishing for the likes of whiting and codling etc...
evry time iv used it i had to change the trace after evey cast !! because of the fish kinking the snoods !!

What type of Seaguar are you using Paul ?
Am heading to Florida in May and will be spending some time in the BassPro Shop in orlando. :D :D :D
They have a few different types of flouro including a few types of Seaguar - any recommendations as to which ones to get/avoid?
BTW - the prices are ridiculously low $14 (€10) for spool?? when you compare to prices here.
Gonna load up with a shedload of line/hooks etc when over there 8)
If anyone wants any stuff at these prices send us a PM and I will put a list together and pick it up - only smaller stuff as i have to cart it through airports etc

john,
i use the seaguar carbonpro in 8, 12, 15, 20, 25 and 30lbs strenghts thats how much i like it. i can get it off of mactackle for less than a score for 200yrds. which is good value, was in the states last year and must have tried at least 10 different tackle shops for the stuff and couldnt get it
