Lee, cracking idea to list them. If us as anglers even go as far as to thank the sponsors ourselves eg the local angling shops in person the next time we are in, it can only do good and help for next year to make it easier for CBARSAC to put on the sort of prize spread that we are used too now 8)
We need to show the sponsors the potential of what their contribution has done for them in either a big or small way through their business, and the way to do that is to thank them in person when we are in getting bits and pieces of tackle etc, and say what a cracking day it was whether we won anything or not.
It's hard enough to get sponsors for anything we do and a "thanks for the prize you give over to make the CBARSAC open such a good day" means alot and show them there prize contribution hasn't been wasted and the potential is there to be given an even bigger prize next year without begging.

Why did my post get lifted? Didn't think I had said anything inflamatory :?
Phil it was rag and mack for me, the five flounder and coalie took that cocktail. Although maddies seemed to be working for the lad pegged beside me. Saying that I seen lugworm being used by one of the other lads to good effect.
It was an enjoyable day out and to be fair to the Carrick lads it was the most efficiently run comp I've fished in a long time

Norfolk and Goode wrote:Lee, can you include the list of sponsors on your own site?
I would like to give them some of my business over coming months.
Will be listed later today, the open would not have been the success that it was without their support. They deserve a pat on the back ( or some trade  ) 8)
