We need to show the sponsors the potential of what their contribution has done for them in either a big or small way through their business, and the way to do that is to thank them in person when we are in getting bits and pieces of tackle etc, and say what a cracking day it was whether we won anything or not.
It's hard enough to get sponsors for anything we do and a "thanks for the prize you give over to make the CBARSAC open such a good day" means alot and show them there prize contribution hasn't been wasted and the potential is there to be given an even bigger prize next year without begging.
