Hi Lads
Im having probs with my penn reel when i reel it in or feed out line it sounds as if i have a rachet on any ideas what could be wrong

Not to state the bleeding obvious but is the ratchet on? Not being funny either......its the button on the side. I apologise for stating the blindingly obvious but I have no idea how long you have had it.

Of course, if thats not the case, remove the side plate and have a look at your ratchet mechanism.

didnt know there was a ractchet ive only had it a few mths ill have to check that :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:
