Hi Lads
Im having probs with my penn reel when i reel it in or feed out line it sounds as if i have a rachet on any ideas what could be wrong

Not to state the bleeding obvious but is the ratchet on? Not being funny either......its the button on the side. I apologise for stating the blindingly obvious but I have no idea how long you have had it.

Of course, if thats not the case, remove the side plate and have a look at your ratchet mechanism.

LOL..... :D I wouldnt have admitted that mate, you're in for a fierce doing at your inaugural SAI meet......... :D :wink: Only messing, sometimes the problem can be right under your nose.
