Re: Bass
Hi lads,
Quick shore fishing question. I have an 9 foot Abu Garcia Vendetta spinning rod 15- 40g. It is matched with a Shimano Catana 4000RB reel. Is this setup sufficient for targeting bass with plugs and soft plastics? I'm not worried about casting weight. It's more will the rod be able to handle a good sized fish or struggle with snags if I am spinning.
Thanks,
Tim.

Re: Bass
Tim your setup is very similar to mine and I believe you will have no issues handling the bigger fish!timconny wrote:Hi lads,

Re: Bass
Tim that will handle bass no problem. You might struggle to cast some of the lighter weedless soft plastics but for fish fighting you will be finetimconny wrote:Hi lads,
