Report:
It’s been a while since I put up a report due to the crap weather & very bad fishing at times over the last couple of months but this month has improved a lot so I’ll start with the most recent sessions.
October 9th
It was the first day that the weather & tides suited a spot of spinning so I wasted no time & made my way to a rock mark where I usually pick up some Garfish this time of year but on arrival there was a heavy swell running

This mark was looking good & the sun had started to shine it was almost like a summer’s day... We took up our positions on the rock & began to cast at different ranges & depths. Sure enough ten minutes later John was straight in with a nice Pollock of 3 lb landed & this was followed by another two fish of 2.5 lb, I just couldn’t get a bite with him shouting over to what’s the score now 3 nill

October 16th:
We headed out to target some big Wrasse but again a heavy swell was running making the best spots to dangerous to fish but luckily we were able to fish the sheltered gullies where I caught six Ballan to almost 40cm along with one Corkwing & John caught five Ballan with a good few lost.
