Looks like a Dab to me. One possibility could be a hybrid..? Not sure if poss. Dont know a hell of alot about flats. Definitly looks different to the flounder

Cracker of a dab there pal, did you s not go for the congers at the pier,the best conger fishing i have ever done in my life was only last year, on the pier, 4 of us got 18 congers some up to 25lbs, great sport, its a busy harbour with the boats coming in and out all night but the conger fishing is amazing.

Yes heard the conger fishing from in the harbour was good and always meant to try it, but normally sidetracked by something else. Must give it a go sometime.
