red mono.

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

red mono.

#1 Post by beachbuddy »

Hi all,
bit of an unusual topic but here goes. Can anyone recommend a decent red coloured mono.I realise it won't catch more fish for me ,its just i like using red for the darker winter evenings and nights as its so easy to see with the headlamp.I normally use the red sufix tritanium in .35mm but as this is no longer available can anyone recommend another bright red line, other than ultima red ice

if you want to see your line at night, go bright white! Viz is a great line, i use the .35 on some of my multi's, its stated at 19lb breaking strain. had no problems with it so far, been using it for about a year and a half. Smartrig do it i think.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
