Bait:Lures



Result:2 Bass

Picked up a few lures saterday to give the lure fishing a go again :roll: i have never had a bass before on a lure until today :lol: after two casts smash i was saying to myself whats going on here :D a fine bass ripping line from the reel like a mad thing got him in a bass about 7lb. at last cracked it something i was thinking was never going to happen and i have been trying for years.went on to have one more shoolie so happy days.but i did lose the 3 lures at 15yoyo a go it will be a while before i will be out again :evil: :evil:

Good stuff Ray very nice fish there :P ,im looking forward to a few trips with the lures my self,i hope to see a few fish of the same size , although a double figure one for myself would be what dreams are made of :wink: .
Unlucky loosing the lures but i think it was more than worth it again very nice bars of silver.
I hope you dont hang up your beachcasters just yet im looking forward to a few trips out still.

Well done. Lovely fish. Petty about the lures but i'm guessing it was worth it. :D

Well done on your first bass on a lure - a fine one for your first.
Tip: If you get snagged dont pull, release plenty of slack, and wait for a few minutes, there is a good chance the wave action will free the lure, particularly if waves are breaking over the area where you are snagged.

Well done ray, fine fish you got there, I'd say you were delighted. much better sport from the lures alright. Pity about the lost lures, Do a search on lure retrievers, lots of different ones out there, never used one before but they might be worth getting, especially if you are shedding out 15 yoyo's a pop.

cheers seanie the bait gear is packed up and put away for a few weeks but knowing me it wont be long before its out again
