Took first macks of the year on Sunday the 25th. Joy of joys! Great to see them again. Only managed two but at least they have started running.
So get your mackerel lures out lads!

Got them on St.Johns Point, Donegal Bay. Real harbringers of summer, should see them build in numbers over the next couple of weeks.

rumours are that they are in galway bay, only been caught out in boats at the moment just past spiddle... even though i have seen small shoals of sprat in salthill.... and loads of bloody jellyfish....
