Sure was a nice evening to be out and about Sean, spotted a couple of other fishy spots there too, and didn't blank either
, mind you the bass you had were slightly better stamp of fish!

Re: westish waterford 13/10/10
Cracking lure session seanie mate, well done
At least the wind has calmed off abit now. Those bass are in great condition, love the pics. Did you catch anything on the Luance? They can be a great bait, I have caught bass using the same method as you did with yours, putting a jig head on and chucking it out and spinning with it in the surf. Bass and pollack go mad for them, there's no need for the artificial lures when you have them at hand to use.
Did you nearly lose another lure?

Nice session seanie. Question. How long will that launce last with the jighead in him?

suppose until something eats it jay a delicate cast was required if i was spinning it a bit of elastic thread wouldve been handy to whip the snout aswellJayball10 wrote:Nice session seanie. Question. How long will that launce last with the jighead in him?

Nice fishing Seanie. Trying to figure out the spot you were fishing. Presume it was low water and between Ardmore and Dungarvan?

a great busy session there seanie
i'll bet losing a launce to a snag was a hell of a bit easier to take than a £15 lure
