i have to agree with you about litter being left on marks . If everyone just took 5 mins at the end of their session clear up their rubbish.

There was quite a few cuckoo rays caught last week from the same area. But they are very hit and miss. You could fish that same mark the next night and not get any.
Well done and I am sure young Jordan will get one soon enough. My own young lad loves catching rays or any flat fish ( as he likes to call them)

thanks george. since putting up the report i've had a few phone calls from lads who have had the odd one in that general area. so, like you said. they are about, just gotta be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time

thanks robbie. thought the very same thing myself . we hope to get a few more species of ray down in co. kerry this weekend. apparently we stand a good chance for stingray, undulates and small eye's. so fingers crossed man

those cuckoo rays are beautiful looking fish ,you guys have
some super looking spots for fishing and great variety of fish .keep the reports comming al .

cheers ger. we don't have smoothies and only the odd bass, but we do get cuckoo wrasse and ray . only a small consolation,, but i think we'll settle for it . and besides, with the new motorway opened wicklow is only a 2 & 1/2 hour drive from our house
