martin was bait fishing with 1 rod and I had a rod set up with bait and another with feathers we were in to fish in a short time, pollack coalfish to the feathers and dogs on the bait we were kept busy all night
at about 22:30 martin go a bite that nearly pulled the rod off the pier and after a good fight martin landed his first ever ray,a ray he wont forget in a long time as you can see from his finger in the photoit even managed to give me a bit of a squeeze on the thumb while trying to unhook it,I never saw a ray bite as strong as that before
we also spotted strange worm like things about 1 to 2 inch long and swimming around very fast, anyone know what they are?
