Pork liver.... Brilliant. Reminds me of using little bits of stewing beef off buncrana pier to catch dabs many moons ago. Nice range of species there, as a matter of interest how many fish hit the liver baits.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial
hi, pete i'v used pork liver for the first time i got 1 dab it was only i got that night that was more in daylight in last my session i don't know why they might moved in shalow water for the night there is 18m depht i.v no idie honestly, than 1 doggie of 6 and 2 rocklings of 3 in total
Pork liver, eh? I've had a 35 lb tope on that, boat fishing out of Lymington in England.
Had it as an emergancy bait cos it's nice and bloody. Mackeral weren't producing, so by the time I used it it had been marinading in it's own juices for long hot hours.
sounds like a great session grady . it's amazing what baits the fish will take . i was fishing beside a guy in waterfoot (co antrim) last year who swore by liver, and sure enough he was getting loads of wee whiting and coalies on it . it's amazing what works as bait sometimes
pork liver add some onions to it and you will catch me every cast
but seriously when i did the shooting i used to keep all the offal from rabbits and birds, and tried it for bait, and it worked just fine
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
