daiwa kenzaki braid special boat

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

i have the 20/30lb 3 piece version of this which is a lovely rod. the 3 piece is
handy because it fits in a suitcase taken apart. the rod line class is really detemined
by the lead you want to use, which is determined by the depth of water, strength
of tide etc and the 20/30 is fine with 10oz or 12 oz. For general reef or wreck fishing
i use 300m of 40lb braid so any muliplier than can hold this would be fine. i like 2 speed
reels for fishing in deep water so i use an avet sx 2 speed reel.

hi there, i have the 30lb class boat special, which i think is a brilliant rod. i use a diawa sl20sh. you should be able to pick one up for around 115 euro. happy hunting. Bait all
