daiwa kenzaki braid special boat
lads got 1 for christmas its the 2 piece 30-50 if anybody has 1 id like to know what there like it seems very light and if you do have 1 what reel are you using or what would you get cheers gar.

hi i have 2 of them love them i use a saltist 30 on mine for wrecking landed a 15lb ling a week ago had a 10lb yesterday i find the handle a lot of weight with no problem you will feel every bite on them drifted for plaice yesterday nice light rod to use i have a evet 5,0 as well suits them fine im thinking of getting another on the 30 /50 class for shark later on i have the 6 to 12 and 12 to 20 lb class

i have the 20/30lb 3 piece version of this which is a lovely rod. the 3 piece is
handy because it fits in a suitcase taken apart. the rod line class is really detemined
by the lead you want to use, which is determined by the depth of water, strength
of tide etc and the 20/30 is fine with 10oz or 12 oz. For general reef or wreck fishing
i use 300m of 40lb braid so any muliplier than can hold this would be fine. i like 2 speed
reels for fishing in deep water so i use an avet sx 2 speed reel.

thanks for the feedback lads them avet's are nice reels but a bit pricey at the min will stick with a penn gto 220 for the moment my birthday is coming up soon il try and get her to get me one

hi there, i have the 30lb class boat special, which i think is a brilliant rod. i use a diawa sl20sh. you should be able to pick one up for around 115 euro. happy hunting. Bait all
