Lads,just a heads up for anyone thinking of fishing down this way in the next few nights,DON'T.Banks and banks of kelp all along the stretch.Did try for a few casts but moved elsewhere once i lost my 5th trace.I know not really the right section but just a warning,cracking surf around though

I was on Ballybrannigan a few weeks ago and the weed was the worst I have ever seen it, huge mounds of it piled up close to the high tide mark. I took a walk down there a week later and a lot of it had cleared but it sounds like it is just as bad again.

the place is prob full of 10 lb bass and they are using the old that place is fullaweed report to keep em for them selves
