Lads, just a heads up for anyone thinking of fishing down this way in the next few nights,DON'T.Banks and banks of kelp all along the stretch.Did try for a few casts but moved elsewhere once i lost my 5th trace.I know not really the right section but just a warning, cracking surf around though

I was on Ballybrannigan a few weeks ago and the weed was the worst I have ever seen it, huge mounds of it piled up close to the high tide mark. I took a walk down there a week later and a lot of it had cleared but it sounds like it is just as bad again.
