Culdaff Beach 3/1/10
fished from 5 am yesterday morning to 10 am , bait was sandeel , lug , mack . three hook flappers , tide was in full at 7.45 am , caught 8 small whiting , 1 small turbot , 1 large flounder just under 2lb weight . first time out fishing in weeks , great to get out . happy new year to all of ye .

Nice session there, can I ask what part you were fishing? Near the river mouth or further along the beach?
2011 Species: 191lb Common Skate, Mackerel, Pollock, Spotted Ray, Spurdog, Thornback Ray, Tub Gurnard

Great to see you getting into some fish. all that effort and reaserch is showing in the results.
As for the whiting they have only really turned up this year, we never really seen them before turning up on the beach.
