just waiting for the letter from brussels telling us how many we're allowed to catch for next year man
doggie3131 wrote:well done lads, thats a great picture of jordan trying to be a kite

hope ye have a good fishing session with arron,he will learn loads of ye lads

cheers noel. arron's missus was taken into hospital last night to bring on the baby, so i went up on my own. but we'll get him into the fish soon enough
fishface wrote:well done on beating jordan, it dos"nt happen often, bet he was trying to imitate that pic in the paper last week of the man flying in the wind

i told him not to be jumping into the air as i did'nt fancy having to fish him out if got blown over the railings

and being a typical 10 year old the first thing he did when my back was turned was to jump into the air

on a sadder note you might be waiting a while on the measure neil

while we were away our dog cody decided that the 2 measures and bag of long boat booms were better than her pedigree jumbone as chew toys

. so as soon as i get them replaced i'll get it posted down
mitch wrote:Fair play al the fishing is tough going at the moment

well done to yourself
and Jordan getting a few fish

cheers man. our flounders were like postage stamps compared to the one's you got with eyes

i feel a road trip to wexford coming in the near future
minty wrote:well done good to see the weather did'nt put you off

. sorry i missed your call but i had a weekend on the beer for a change. good luck for the session later and hope to meet up at the club comp this weekend if i can make it............
ps. good to see you won the bragging rights again

cheers minty. i'm gonna lap it up while it lasts as i'm sure it won't be too long before jordan puts me back in my place

hopefully we'll see you at the weekend man
Drew wrote:Nice one on getting out lads!

Must arrange a wee Donaghadee meet some night!

thanks drew. that would be sweet man

just be prepared for jordan to pick your brain for fishing tips the whole session
big bryan wrote:fair play al for clocking up the miles and holdin out in the weather crackin report mate.....

cheers bryan, we'll have to get a session in with you up the antrim coast some weekend man

so long as there's petrol in the tank and bait in the freezer we'll be out fishing dave
saltydog wrote:Well done guys nice bit of variety there

Congrats on the win Al

pity about the eel must've put a nice bend in the spinning rod

that'd be one for next time conger gear on the spinning rod and a drop net....
thanks conor. i thought when i felt the first tug it was a dog. but then it started stripping line off the reel like a tope run

needless to say that the next time we go down there i'll be armed with the conger gear
colin c wrote:Fair play for sticking out that weather.
cheers colin. it's been bloody grim no matter where we tried to tuck in away from it

althow i'd say a lot of the marks that were unfishable during the storms will fish their socks off a few days into a clear spell

that is if it ever clears up
RockHunter wrote:Well done for getting out in that weather a getting a bunch of fish. You are both dedicated anglers.
thanks frank. like i said before, i'm not sure if we're fool hardy or just hardy fools

. but sure if all else fails, your skin's waterproof anyhow
crazyfish1983 wrote:Nice session Al. I think we could all learn something from you guys.
yeah,,,, like how to avoid the blokes in the padded van with the coats where the arms wrap around your back

i've lost count of the members of the public who stood watching us fishing in the past few weeks just shaking their heads in dis-beliefe at what we were at
