Report:With a welcome break in the weather and 10 lug leftover from last night, i convinced herself that she needed a spin out to Greystones, with me packing the fishing gear in the boot. After gales and rain and stormy seas last night, it was a pleasure to set up tonight and wait for a bite to register on the rod tip with calm seas and a beautiful star filled sky as a backdrop. I wasnt waiting long to see the first bite, a small fish nibbling away which turned out to be a 5 beard rockling, my first in a long time, another sign of winter.Things went quiet for the next while and i was running out of lug so i put on 2 lumps of mack and belted them out. A short while later the rod tip nodded away and i landed a nice doggie. I took a pic and returned him and went to clean off the rig only to find a nice surprise waiting for me on the bottom hook. Covered in weed was a nice dab, i hadnt even seen him
