Recommend a boat ?

#1 Post by kissafish »

I'm after a small boat, I sold my 15ft one cus it was a bit too small.
I'm after one about 17/18ft with a cabin, maybe one with a sink + camp cooker in it :?:
Just for family fishing trips and days out.
I was thinking along the lines of a Shetland 535 or 536.
Any other suggestions :)

Hi ennagail24
Its something simular to my last boat (pilot 15)
Cathedral Hull or some would describe it as a Tri Hull.
I used my boat for sea angling and it was very stable even in choppy seas, I was told that it took up to a 40hp outboard but i used a mariner 25hp long shaft, plenty of power for such a small boat. OK for 2 anglers or 3 at most. There are a few for sale at http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk

Hi screeming reels
Checked out the Hardy Navigator 18 8)
Nice boat :) but a bit too heavy for easy launching for 1 person with my 1.8lt car, After something lighter to tow and launch 8)
