I'm after a small boat, I sold my 15ft one cus it was a bit too small. I'm after one about 17/18ft with a cabin, maybe one with a sink + camp cooker in it Just for family fishing trips and days out. I was thinking along the lines of a Shetland 535 or 536. Any other suggestions
DOes anybody know about a CJR 14ft? suitable for the sea?(only going about a mile out) What size engine? Long/short shaft? the boat is in England but boat yard said the transom is 17"

Hi ennagail24 Its something simular to my last boat (pilot 15) Cathedral Hull or some would describe it as a Tri Hull. I used my boat for sea angling and it was very stable even in choppy seas, I was told that it took up to a 40hp outboard but i used a mariner 25hp long shaft, plenty of power for such a small boat. OK for 2 anglers or 3 at most. There are a few for sale at http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk

Hi screeming reels Checked out the Hardy Navigator 18 Nice boat but a bit too heavy for easy launching for 1 person with my 1.8lt car, After something lighter to tow and launch
