Decided to head to Streedagh to try the beach for a few Flounder but the place was packed so headed to a rock mark a bit down the road which I haven’t fished in a while so set up a simple rig of 1 hook and a small weight about 1ft above it. Loaded with Lug dropped it down the side of the rock, bang fish on, reeled up a small Ballan Wrasse so baited up again, same thing, another, this time a small Corkwing Wrasse, & this continued for the next hour until the heavy shower of rain hunted me away
The next day I returned & got 2 nice little Ballan slightly bigger than the day before. A pod of Dolphins put on a great show chasing Mackerel around the bay for about 10 minutes then moved on
