Donaghadee is obviously fishing well at present - but have you ever tried Ballywalter pier? Living in Millisle you are about halfway between the two towns...
I'm asking because my parents live in Ballywalter and it would be handy for me to visit them and do a bit of fishing as well!?
Cheers

hi there
I fished at d'dee pier on friday night with the wife.

2 pollack and 4 small whiting were caught with her getting the biggest pollack after dark.

on sat I was there from 10am to 5pm but the place was a nightmare with kids and the boat traffic in and out was really heavy.
between my bro-in-law and me we caught 5 fish, all tiny whiting(?) that were returned and 1 half decent pollack.

on sunday I squeezed in 2 hrs around lunchtime but it was only1 small whiting caught.

I've tried ballywalter pier once and will go back to it.

best wishes all
