Had a bit of a dangle in the Mulroy on Saturday, not a long session, blanked.

Don't mean there's no fish ther, it just means I didn't catch any... :x

i think the rays move in a little sooner than we think, like last year a mate of mine had rays on fahn in febuary then had another session on st paddys day and got them again, so still think theyd be worth ago soon up around kerry keel and fanad. Was also wondering have use ever had anything else out of mulroy bay except for rays and dogs.

Dab, plaice, turbot, red/grey/tub gurnards, mackeral, small-eyed ray, cuckoo ray.... ok the last 2 are rays, but I was presuming you were talking about thornies.

they are there at this time of the year mc, but not a lot of them. they start moveing in along fahan in march, got my first ray there last year at fahan mid march. but like you say arpil/may onwards is the best time for them. hopeing to get out this weekend for a couple of hours, so i might just hit fahan to check it out.....will keep you's informed....
