Hi guys,

Does anyone have an opinion of the suitability of this reel: Shakespeare Pflueger Trion large arbor fly reels ?

Cheers

I wouldn't mate.
You need the internal workings to be completely enclosed.
Preventing corrosion and even sand from getting in there.

Type one of the following into yahoo/google

+"fly reel" +saltwater
Or

+"fly reel" +corrosion

You should find something.

I do find it helps if you also add
+UK

Here's what I found

Google/yahoo tips:

+ means only give me docs with this word in it. Without + and you will get partial matches.

Words in inverted commas means you want to match that fraise exactly.

- means don't give me any docs with this word in it.

For example:
I wanted to find a web page about "flounder fishing" in either UK or Ireland from shore not boat.

+"flounder fishing" UK OR IRELAND +shore -boat

Return to “Saltwater Fly Fishing”
