lovely fish john did bad myself for them last year to be honest
thanks denis im hoping to connect with a few more this year last year was a disaster of a year to say the least, all going well i might get some fishing in this year .
heres my choice, 7lb bass that followed the lure right to my feet, there was a second or 2 of disbelief from me and the fish and then a great fight before i landed it.......have got bigger this year but thats my favourite

best we have had on the baot this year would be my dads 14lbs 12oz pollock
best i had would be one of the spurdog we had in a great session in august, we could have had 20 over specimen size that day they were swarming. i forget the size of the one i am holding but the best was 16. we stopped weighing after 6 over 13 lbs had come to the boat. didnt do much from the shore this year
not a great year for me as far as catching the big fish, but as far as i can remmber my best ray weighed in at 14lb+ over a dozen seatrout over the 4lb mark, with a couple near the 5lb mark. on my local spots for the seatrout i would average app; 60 for the year, but on checking my books i'v got well over the 300 mark for 2008. it has been the best i have seen it for years, and can only put it down, to the ban on nets. just hopeing 2009 is just as good.....
one i forgot about, conger well over the 40lb mark....
