Would a fish caught from the boat whilst tied up to the pontoon count in the boat section ?
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

erm, i think that was mentioned before,

afaik, we came up with if its moored to anything that is fixed it counts as shore, where as if anchored (not moored to a fixed buoy, pontoon) it counts as boat...

i'll check it out

Maybe an update of the species chart would help.
I'm aim for the 160 points, with a mini species hunt (how insulting) after the small boats, and the odd 10 and 5 pointers.

It would help if the list was kept up to date

Somebody has to keep Screaming Reels under the cosh :D   that boy is getting out of control

I think they're both long spined screaming , the spines on a short spined are quite stumpy where the long spined are long looking for the size of the fish ,also when the photo is blown up a bit you can just make out the wee barbule on the end of the upper jaw bone ,its easily missed .
