erm, i think that was mentioned before,
afaik, we came up with if its moored to anything that is fixed it counts as shore, where as if anchored (not moored to a fixed buoy, pontoon) it counts as boat...

just noticed the boat section has both .

If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

Good job steve ,one small problem ,I had a spurdog on the 5th feb along with dab and pollack ,and I've still no points for it

I think they're both long spined screaming , the spines on a short spined are quite stumpy where the long spined are long looking for the size of the fish ,also when the photo is blown up a bit you can just make out the wee barbule on the end of the upper jaw bone ,its easily missed .
