Sunday afternoon session 16:00-20:30
Mark 1: arrived at the mark to see the place alive with sprat being chased frantically by shoals of veracious mackerel with the odd bass jumping between them as the sea boiled over with activity. With this myself and steve thought we'd try our hand at lure fishing for bass whilst mga tried bottom fishing baits. We tried assortment of lures i picked up one small schoolie on a chug bug and steve got a bass on a diving lure, mackerel were plentiful and we all picked up quite a few with mga picking up a flounder also. Teacher dropped by to see how we were getting on which was nice of him
we hope to get a session in before the end of sept with him. Results: mga 1 flounder countless mackerel / steve 1 bass lots of mack / myself 1 bass lots of mack

Results: mga 1 flounder countless mackerel / steve 1 bass lots of mack / myself 1 bass lots of mack Mark 2: Moved a little bit further down the coast steve and myself continued our mission for bass on surface lures, we failed to connect with anymore bass but picked up some mackerel & mga stocked up plenty of fresh bait too in the form of mackerel. Results mga / steve / myself as much mackerel as you could want (starting shaking them off in the end and left as it was getting ridiculous)
Sunday evening / night 23:00-05:30
Moved back up the coast to fish one of the many coves in North Wexford, we all set up two rods one in close and one at distance. We were kept busy with fish coming steadily enough with steve picking up 7 species and myself 5 and mga 2.

Monday evening / night 21:30 03:30
Mark 1: Moved back down the coast for this session armed to the teeth with fresh peeler and rag and all the usual baits it looked like we were in for a bumper session with bass coming early but unfortunately the weed showed up with a vengenance and put paid to our best laid plans!! We cut our losses and headed back up the coast.
Results: mga 2 bass 1 dab, steve 1 bass, myself blank
Mark 2: the locals rate this one highly for bass we checked the clarity of the water and weed levels. All looked promising so we set up it was slow going with the weed eventually making its way up the coast after us. We called it a night having fished it hard but to little success.
Results: mga 1 dog, steve blank, myself blank
