Hi all-
Just letting you know that Mark Beatty (m.b3) has been co-opted on to the committee to act as the PRO.

Nice one Mark and you've reached 600 posts

Well done and are you the Club PROfessional or the Public Relations Officer, I'll vote either way or both, well done.

Good stuff Mark.

You might have to shave off that goatee if you want to look really official though

Mark/JD,

Any chance of getting a short description of the events and topics from each Leinster meeting? You could just stick them under the same thread each time?

oh yeah! that's a good idea!! there was a lot of boat talk at the last meeting. also, the coverage of risk given by insurance during a fishing 'event'. JD suggested that the term 'event' needed to be clarified with which many others agreed. for example- does event mean 'competition', 'outing' or 'freelance fishing as a member of a club'???
also given to us on a hand out was a propsed plan for greystones harbour. anglers are worried that it will affect the fishing on the north beach.

Nice one, jd.

Make your presence felt - after all - it's only dead fish that swim with the current :D
