Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

Cheers was testing out the waterproofness of the camera was suprised at the quality of the picture underwater. Would prefer something bigger but the small fish are fun to catch as well.

That first fish has beautiful colours but the fin on the back looks dodgy can they sting like the weaver,
Would they be toxic or harmful for a kid to pick up, :?:

I was using an olympus 790sw. Waterproof and shockproof.

They are not too sharp you would have to give them a good squeeze for the spikes to dig in also they are fairly placid out of the water dont flap about too much. And they are harmless according to fishbase.

I've the same one myself, great tough little camera and being waterproof makes it especially handy to bring fishing.

the local scorpion fish are harmless, unless you get spined by them, but its non toxic.. just be sure you know what a weaver looks like..

there are two species of weaver off our coastline, the lesser which frequents clean beaches and in fairly shallow waters and the greater which will be found in deeper waters..

knowing what they are and look like can save a lot of agony or a trip to the hospital or GP..
