People: myself and stevecrow

Duration:about 17:30 till 23:30

Tide: high 19:00ish

Weather: predominantly easterly - swithched occasionally to SE to S to SW and then back east again

one serious piece of rain for about 30mins about HT and that was it - wind picked up for a bit after - but then eased off for last 2-3 hours again

cloud cover was patchy with some very clear skies

Bait: frozen sandeel, mack, herring, mussel

Rigs: i was 3 hook flapper and pulley - steve 1 up 1 down i think

Results: 2 coalfish

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:

one each - no size to them - mine was obviously bigger :D. steves fell to mack, mine came to the herring

steve had a couple of large bites on sandeel but no hook ups - had a decent one on and lost at the rocks at the very end

think he may have had another 1-2 small ones in the same way

i had a small flattie on that got off the hook once i got out of the water at the rocks

had a serious hook up aswell - darting all over the place and then stopped - got steve excited aswell - turned out to be a momentous ball of weed in the end

there was definitely something big on - im telling you

the weed was fairly bad becoming involved most casts - had a good play on a huge amount of plastic aswell

overall good to get out on a relatively nice night and avoid a blank

Good report lads... Nice to get out anyway, although for myself, I hate too much weed and normally don't have the patience to fish on.

Well done lads.
