Duration:9pm-1am

Tide:high@11.45 big surf

Weather:windy but dry

Bait:lug, mussel and a jar of minnows from viking tackle

Rigs:2 hook flapper, single bomber

Results:7 codling to 2lb,6 whiting biggest 33 cm

Catch and Release:: Yes/



Report:rough night but well worth it! nobody else on the beach so fished opposite car park.tide was surging a lot but plenty of fish.minnows worked a treat! got 2 codling and 3 whiting on them.tried them instead of sand-eel for the crack.

sounds like a worthwhile trip minnows hummm wonder if the old garden worm trick might do the bizz at the mouth of the river have had some big flounder on them ,just a pain rebaiting every 5 minutes :roll:
