help with pictures

just tried to post a report with a picture attached but it said pic is too big .how can i reduce its size. dont get to technical keep it simple if you can thanks

i use http://photobucket.com/ it is in simple English and you simply add you photos and it has sizes changing option you can have you pic avatar size up to 1024x768 witch is good give it a try you have to become a member witch costs nothing and then you can save your pic on there site so god for bid if you PC crashes they still have you pics saved on there PC

you need to post it onto a separate hosting site, i used http://www.tinypics.com, this will allow you to copy the links over allowing you to reduce the size of the pic to something much more manageable.

thanks for all of the quick replies lads . as you can see i got sorted with the picture of the lobster thanks at least i will be able to post pics from now on.

Hi there,

Lot of free imaging programs available to resize your photos. Microsoft do an add on where you can right click the pic and resize it see
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx and look for image resizer (assuming you have XP that is).

irfan view http://www.irfanview.com is a good free image program if you want do more with it....

plenty of options if you do a search on the net for them as well....
