OLD FISHING MAGAZINES!!

During a good old rumage in the roof space i came across an sea angler magazine dated autumn 1991. Sea Angler came out quartley then, had a good flick through it and by god things have changed!! Especially the size of cod from the shore!! and the abundance of fish stocks all over. Some great photos, 350lb porbeagle shark thats one that springs to mind. I was only 12 when i spent my pocket money on that magazine, its funny how things like tha :shock: t brings back memories. Its great to be involved and develope your skills as a fisherman, surely has to be one of the best hobbys/sports in the world available to everybody and one to last you a life time. Was just wondering does anybody else have any old fishing magazines tucked away somewhere might be worth hokeing them out and taking a look. Oh and found an old Diawa 1992 catalogue. So get searching lads see what u come up with. Could be very interesting!! :shock:

have some from late eighties early nineties- even the Irish marks section there is a notable difference in the fish sizes... :cry:

anyone got a patner or wife who gives out about fishing magazines under the bed ???? mine says it not normal ie should be playboy ect is this something that happens to fishermen when they hit 40?? :oops:
