Greystones driveing range

#1 Post by KK »

People:/Myself and 4 others

Duration:4-8pm

Tide:rising

Weather:calm and quite warm

Bait:Lug,mackeral and mussel

Rigs:3 hook flappers/scratching

Results:5 whiting up to 26, 4 coalies up to 32, and 2 small codling

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: Was an enjoyable few hours got a nice coalie 32cm first cast to mussell, then lost 6 rigs in a row was a snaggy mark, snags in close, snags out far in the end i just moved 200 yards up the beach and stopped the rot. Fish were quite small but was a nice evening and we were getting a fish a cast. Oh its amazing how many small fish you can catch scratching.
