People:myself and son darragh

Duration:18.30-21.00

Tide:high around 19.00

Weather: moderate westerlys

Bait: lug / razor / squid.

Rigs: 2 hook flappers.

Results: 5 coalies lots of whiting .

Catch and Release:: Yes/No



Report: we went for a bit of handy fishing so we pearched orselvs on a the rocks past the old la touch hotel. first cast produced double whiting. non stop after that fish every cast. best coalies were 35 + 38cm kept the two of them . one interesting observation while cleaning thease out was they were packed with fresh sandeel taught it was a bit early myself. id say a good day could be had flicking a spinner down there

my brother got into a conger on a spinning rod down there when we were kids one summer it was the best fight i ever remember conger won\ spinning rod broke into and my brother was afraid to go swimming for months i wonder if it still lives there? :shock:
